Parker SMH / SMB / SME series brushless servo motors with high dynamics have been designed to combine innovative Parker Hannifin technology with extremely high performance. Thanks to innovative "salient pole" technology, the motor body has been drastically reduced, with consequent advantages in terms of torque, size and dynamics. Compared with traditional brushless moteus construction technology, torque is around 30 % higher, overall dimensions are reduced, and rotor inertia is particularly low.

The high quality of the neodymium-iron-boron magnets, and the encapsulation method used to attach them to the shaft, enable these two series to withstand high accelerations and overloads without the risk of demagnetization or magnet detachment. Specific applications for the SMH / SMB / SME servomotor ranges include automation systems, primarily in the packaging and handling industry, and all applications requiring high dynamic performance and minimal inertia.
