PARKER ASYNCHRONOUS VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE AC30

For open and closed loop applications Standard drive 0.75 - 450 kW

Parker Hannifin

The Parker AC30 asynchronous variable speed drive has been developed to provide users with exceptional levels of control for simple open-loop pump and fan applications and more complex closed-loop process applications.

The AC30 combines advanced performance with exceptional ease of use, making even the most complex applications simple to implement.

The AC30 gives users access to an extensive library of macros and sample applications. While users are free to develop their own applications, they can also save time and reduce development costs by accessing customized examples and complete solutions.

- Flexibility
- Suitable for controlling induction motors and permanent magnet motors (PMAC)
- Ethernet TCP/IP as standard
- Expansion I/O options
- Supports common fieldbus systems
- Through-hole or frame mounting

- Simplicity
- PDQ (Parker Drive Quicktool) fast drive configuration tool
- Multilingual graphic console
- Quick start wizards
- Removable terminal covers with in situ dimmer

- Reliability
- Compliant coating for protection in harsh environments as standard
- Terminal blocks with spring-loaded terminals
- Isolated power supply cooling with removable fan

To enable connectivity to a wide range of automation systems, the AC30 features Profinet and Ethernet IP connections via two Ethernet ports, as well as Modbus TCP IP with client/server functionality. This means that the AC30 range is compatible with over 80 % automation architectures; there's no need for costly add-ons or module upgrades. Ethernet protocols also offer data analysis capabilities and connection to external servers - enabling links to the cloud or "big data" management.

Whether for stand-alone use or integration into a complex automation system, the AC30 offers an easy-to-use solution for both simple and advanced motor control applications.

The AC30 variable speed drive provides users with exceptional levels of control for simple open-loop industrial applications up to 132 kW. A range of I/O and communications options are available separately.
