The Parker AC690 + asynchronous variable speed drive is a range of flux vector control drives designed for variable speed applications, from the simplest to the most demanding.

The AC690P drive incorporates a wide range of automation functions as standard, enabling it to meet the exact requirements of every application. It is available in 380-500V three-phase from 0.75 to 1000kW and in 220V-240V from 0.75 to 55kW.

AC690 Software :

Three different, user-configurable control modes:

  • Open-loop control (U/f) :
    This operating mode is ideal for simple speed control, e.g. on several motors driven in parallel.
  • Sensorless vector control :
    High starting torque and precise speed control are made possible by an advanced MRAS (Model Reference Adaptive System) control algorithm. This provides precise speed estimation, without the need for an external measuring device, thanks to a model of the motor's dynamic behavior.
  • Closed-loop vector control :
    The AC690+ asynchronous drive's closed-loop flux vector control mode delivers 100% of torque at standstill, and highly dynamic speed control (up to 45Hz bandwidth), meeting the needs of the most demanding applications.
  • Pre-programmed business macros
  • Open to standard industrial fieldbuses
  • Platform (programming) identical to that of the 590P Integrator DC series
  • Wide choice of mechanical options: IP 20 - IP40/NEMA 1 - IP54 - through-housing - through-bottom mounting
  • Class B EMC filters
